Description (Hart):
Bust, to left, profile.  Circular medallion, inscribed "Genl. Geo. Washington", upon a pedestal, to right, surmounted with war emblems.  A corresponding pedestal, to left, bears a medallion of Franklin, inscribed "Docr. Benn. Franklin"..  Between the two is a figure of America. and above, an arch.
