Andrea Rioda & C. (1911-1921)
Successori Andrea Rioda (1921-1937)

Founding:
Andrea Rioda left Compagnie di Vetri e Mosaici di Venezia e Murano to found (1911), with Stefano Zanetti, Andrea Rioda & C. The new firm acquired the Palazzo Da Mula glassworks facility previously operated by Rioda's former employer.

Developmental Events:

1921

In the face of adverse business circumstances, Andrea Rioda closed the firm and sold the factory to Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Cappellin Venini & C., which was newly formed by Giacomo Cappellin and Paolo Venini together with other investors. Andrea Rioda was to have become Production Director of that new firm, but he died before it began operations.
With support from the firm Erede dott. A. Salviati & C., Giulio Radi and other former glassblowers of Andrea Rioda & C. reorganized themselves as Successori Andrea Rioda.

1932 Giulio Radi and others left to found Arte Vetreria Muranese [A.VE.M.].
1937 The firm closed.
