Villa Melato-Cornaro (later Pasqualigo, Farinella, Miari, Baldisserotto)

Urbana (Padua)

Villa Cornaro-Baldisseratto

Giovanni Cornaro acquired VILLA CORNARO at Urbana from Antonio Melato, 1582. By 1740 half-interests in the property had passed directly or indirectly to Giovanni's two granddaughters, Catterina Maria Falier (whose mother, wife of Marc'Antonio Falier, was an unidentified daughter of Giovanni) and Marietta Cornaro (whose father Benedetto was a son of Giovanni). [N. b.: Catterina married Andrea or Donaldo Cornaro and Marietta married Andrea Bon.]

The villa passed to the Pasqualigo family in 1751, the Giustinian family in 1764, and the Farinella family in 1796. In 1986 it was owned by a member of the Baldisserotto family.
